Project 11 - Pre-work

I like the way color is used in this cover. The blue of the background and the yellow of his hat work together nicely. I also find the way the chunks are moved interesting.

I like the uses of font and text in this cover and the way that the occasional orange bits pop out on the otherwise low saturation image.

I like the spreads in this series because the of how it looks like a spilled ink blotch and how that is maintained across the pages.

I like how the lights of parliament are the only orange-yellow on the blue as they are compliments. The use of the flat water as a place to put text is wise and functional.

I like the creativity of this ad. The gradient on the background and the central location of the carrot is engaging. It effectively communicates the point that their soup is nice and full of carrots.

I also like this ad because it is nice and creative. The contrast between the orange and the black and white goes well with the contrast between the pure white and the text.
