Project 9 - Prework

These paintings by Rene Margitte are surreal. They tap into a dreamlike state with levitation (the rock), different sizes (the oversized martini glass), and things of that sort. 

This photo by Martin Stranka is surreal. The levitation of the woman is the tool he uses to capture surrealism. 

This photo by Tommy Ingberg is also surreal. It also uses levitation with the rock, however it also has photo montage as the rock is likely taken as a separate photo and photoshopped into it's place above the man in the umbrella.
